Sun, wind and water…

“Summer is the time when one sheds one’s tensions with one’s clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all’s right with the world”

(Ada Louise Huxtable)

What a wonderful set of Summery images! Like Lu, I love the seagulls; the one on the left looks like a dancer from a Hollywood musical! Your reflections, as ever, are superb!

Fred Astaire in the air… 😉 Will I ever get enough of the reflections? I DON’T THINK SO! But I think I’ll wait some time to show more of them… Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it!

Här har du fångat “the essence of summer” perfekt!!

A set of different and very intriguing pictures. For me, the weakest is the bottom one, but the rest – and especially the one with the woman in the red dress! – are excellent. FATman

Thank you! The first and the last image were meant to be postcard-like. I love shells and I always take some of them with me home, so to me they are a part of the summer…

  9. I love the simplicity of your images and the subject matter you have chosen. Your work takes the viewer to a place of discovery, summer warmth and fun. I like the figure in the water image, and the flowing hair contrasting against the movement of the ocean.

    Nice work Lucy
